 NO ABANDONMENT, NO NEW AWARDS: FG SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON MOROCCO SCHOLARSHIPS The Federal Government has firmly debunked misleading narratives circulating in some quarters regarding Nigerian scholarship students in the Kingdom of Morocco, describing such claims as false, unfounded, and deliberately crafted to misinform the public. The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has clarified that no Nigerian student on a valid Federal Government scholarship has been abandoned. All beneficiaries duly enrolled under the Bilateral Education Scholarship (BES) Programme prior to 2024 have received payments up to the 2024 budget year, in line with the Federal Government’s obligations. Any temporary delays in outstanding payments are attributable to fiscal constraints and are currently being addressed through ongoing engagements between the Federal Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. A JUDGE IN THE U.S,RULED AGAINST THE 21 DAY'S ISOLATION OF EBOLA VIRUS IN FAVOUR OF A NURSE.

                Yesterday friday,a Judge in Maine,ruled that a U.S female nurse Kaci Hickox who treated victims of Ebola in West Africa does not need to be confined to her home,declaring Ebola fears in the United States ''Not entirely rational''.The nurse Kaci Hickox challenged the quarantine law set by the government in Maine.Maine's 21 day isolation regime, is a key battle to some U.S states and the Federal Government to curb the further spread of Ebola virus.A handful of states have imposed mandatory quarantines on health workers returning from Ebola outbreak countries in West Africa in which the government is even considering discouraging potential medical volunteers.The Judge decided that Nurse Kaci Hickox must continue direct monitoring of her health,coordinate travel plans with officials and report any symptoms.Nurse Kaci Hickox said through a video shown in her lawyers office in New York that ''I'm happy with the decision the judge made to...

                   According to a new video posted today saturday by the Islamic militant group Boko Haram,through French News Agency.In the video,Shakau {the leader of the group},claimed he had married off all the kidnapped Chibok girls {above 200 in number} to his fighters.This is a very sad news because these new video now contradicts the Nigerian government claims that the missing girls will soon be released.My heart goes out to the family of these missing girls who turned out to be involved in these modern day slavery.More photos below.                                                                                                                   ...
