 Obosi Development Union Backs Dialect Quiz to Preserve Local Language ‎ ‎  ‎By Chiedu Uche Okoye ‎ ‎The President General of the Obosi Development Union (ODU), Barrister  Chimezie Obi, has expressed his support for the upcoming Obosi dialect quiz competition, aimed at preserving the Obosi dialect of the Igbo language from extinction.  ‎ ‎The event, initiated by Pharm. Obi Egbuonye's "Revive Obosi Dialect Project", is scheduled to take place at the Obosi town hall on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. ‎ ‎According to Barr. Obi, the competition will promote the Obosi dialect and contribute to the preservation of the Igbo language. "It will bring together Obosi people who are proficient in the Obosi dialect, enabling younger generations to learn and appreciate their local language," he stated. ‎ ‎Nze Isaac Ejindu, leader of the Uruowulu village team, praised the organizers, including Pharm. OVER 10 PEOPLE DIED,AS A 10 YEAR OLD GIRL,BLEW UP HERSELF IN MAIDUGURI MARKET.

               According to my correspondence,a 10 year old girl,entered Maiduguri poutry market and blewup herself.The bomb blast took place about 12:40pm today when the market is packed with sellers and buyers.The 10 year old girl body was completely shattered because of the high calibre of explosive she strapped to her body.This is just a pity,i wonder when all these bombing will stop in Nigeria.

                         According to sources,the Duke of Kent,who is the Queen's,has for decades been active in fostering British-German reconciliation and since 1994,he has been the patron of the British Dresden Trust,an organisation dedicated to healing the wounds of war and furthering harmonious relations between the people of Britain and Dresden and its surrounding area in Germany.He will be honoured with the Dresden prize,an international peace prize,on 14th of February 2015.The Duke of Kent will also attend a service in the Frauenkirche to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Dresden.Congrats to him.More photos below.                                                                                   ...

OVER 30 WOMEN,DISRUPTS BILL COSBY'S STAND-UP COMEDY IN ONTARIO,#RAPIST.

                      According to sources,roughly five minutes Bill Cosby started his stand up comedy show in Hamilton,Ontario,yesterday friday,around 30 women rose from their seats,removed their coats to display white T-shirts emblazoned with the words ''We believe the women'',meaning that all the women that accused Bill Cosby of RAPE,are right about him being a rapist.Some of the women blew whistles,while others shouted down Cosby by chanting ''We believe the women''.As security men waded into the audience to chase off the protesters,Bill Cosby told the security ''Stop,stop,let them,stop...........let them have their say''.Just as calm seemed to return to the theater,a male protester rose from his seat to yell out ''You're a piece of shit.You rapist''.Thpugh Bill Cosby had warned his audience before hand that ''Whatever happens here tonight,if there's some sort of out burst,we just need to keep calm and ...
