 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

           According to a U.S based magazine,they claimed today wednesday that 32 years old Beyonce has been asking longtime friend Gwyneth Paltrow for advice on how to end her marriage to 44 year old Jay Z.The magazine further claimed that Beyonce was impressed with how Gwyneth Paltrow parted ways with her husband Chris Martin in March after 10 years of marriage.''Beyonce has sought Gwyneth's advice as she plans her split,the day after the announcement,Beyonce and Jay Z will still be spotted together ,just like Gwyneth and Chris were spotted on a tropical vacation together after their breakup ''Uncoupling''.More photos below.

JACKIE CHAN IS ASHAMED AND HEARTBROKEN OF HIS SON'S RECENT DRUG ARREST.

             Today wednesday,Actor Jackie Chan apologized to the public over his son's detention on drug charges in Beijing,saying he's ashamed and saddened.Jackie Chan wrote on his website that his son Jaycee Chan would have to face the consequences of his actions,but that they would do so together.''Regarding this issue with my son Jaycee,i feel very angry and very ashamed.As a father,i'm heartbroken''.31 year old Jaycee Chan and Taiwanese movie star 23 year old Kai Ko was detained last week thursday,becoming the latest high profile celebrities to be ensnared in one of China's biggest anti drug crackdown in two decades.Police said both actors tested positive for Marijuana and admitted using the drug,and that 100 grams of it were taken from Chan's home.One more photo below.

             Britain has vowed to oppose ISIS group militant group with every breath in their body after a shocking video emerged of a jihadist with a British accent beheading a kidnapped American Journalist.Graphic footage of the execution appeared in a video titled ''A message to the U.S'',in which an apparently coerced 40 year old James Wright Foley,describes America as his true killers for using airstrikes to assist Kurdish forces in recapturing the Mosul Dam from Islamic state militants.Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that ''Islamic state also known as Isis or Isil was waging war on the west and must be dealt with.Foley's executioner appeared to be British and confirmed that the government believed the footage to be genuine''.The white house today also confirmed the video was authentic.Prime minister David Cameron has since broken off his holiday and was seen returning to Downing street earlier today to over see Britain's response to F

EBOLA VICTIMS IN LIBERIA PROTESTED AND WERE DISPERSED BY POLICE WITH TEAR GAS TODAY.

            Today wednesday in Monrovia,police fired tear gas on agitating quarantine Ebola victims because the Ebola victims want to leave the neighbood.Liberian authorities introduced a nation wide curfew on tuesday and put the neighbourhood west point under quarantine.There were no injuries reported in the clash which witnesses said started after securities forces blockade the roads to the neighbourhood early on wednesday with tables,chairs and barbed wire.Residents claimed they were given no warning of the blockade,which prevented them from getting to work or buying food.45 year old Alpha Barry,a money changer said ''We just saw it blockade this morning.We came out and we couldn't go anywhere.I haven't heard from anybody in authority what happened''.More photos below.

2 PEOPLE SHUT DEAD AS HOODLUMS CLASH IN LAGOS.

           The picture above shows a vehicle that was vandalized by hoodlums during the violent clash.The violent clash that happened yesterday tuesday,left two people dead in Oto town,Lagos Mainland local government.It was gathered that over 100 hoodlums participated in the attack on the town,.They attacked the palace of the Oloto of Oto,Oba Ganiyu Odesanya and vandalized some of his vehicles.Other neighbouring houses of the palace as also attacked and set ablaze by hoodlums.It took the combine efforts of riot and regular policemen from the area to quell the violence.The Oba said he was in his palace having a meeting with some monarchs when he heard gun shots.''These attack has been going on for some time now,i don't know exactly what the the hoodlums want''.
