 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.   The Lagos State Government has announced that all Public and Private Schools in the State should resume for the Third Term of the Y2020/2021 academic session on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. A release issued by the Office of the Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Mrs. Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, enjoined all school managers to enforce strict compliance with all subsisting protocols to curb the spread of COVID-19, just as they ensure that all students and staff are protected in the State. According to her, OEQA evaluators will be visiting schools across the five divisions to monitor resumption activities and to ensure compliance with the State unified academic calendar date. While informing that Students in boarding schools are enjoined to resume on Monday, May 3, 2021, Seriki-Ayeni advised proprietors and administrators to ensure strict compliance with the Lagos State Government academic calendar/resumption dates.

Her funeral mass was held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Abba. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. More photos below.
