 SANWO-OLU HAILS LAGOSIANS ON SANITATION DAY The return of the monthly Sanitation Day on Saturday was successful- thanks to Lagosians who trooped out to clean their environment.  From Ikorodu to Badagry, Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland ; Alimoso to Ikeja and Agege, the turnout was impressive.  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu would like to put on record the enthusiasm of residents who woke up early to obey the call for a return to a culture that made our state a healthy and clean place for all.  “I thank Lagosians who joined the call to clean up our environment as a sure step to good health,”Mr Sanwo-Olu said.   “That is patriotic; it is the Spirit of Lagos that we often speak about. We should continue to walk that path,” he added. YANG JINHAI,OFFERED HIMSELF AS A MEAL TO TIGER'S IN A ZOO.

           Yang Jinhai,was saved by a zoo keeper when he offered himself as a meal to the tigers in Chengdu zoo.He claimed he wanted to improve the lives of caged tiger.Yang posted several online messages about how optimistic he was about getting a job as a security guard in Chengdu in south west china's Sichuan province but he quickly found the job boring and monotonous and moved instead to a job in a printing factory where he also then resigned,saying that he felt there was more to life.After going to the zoo,he wrote how depressing it was to see the noble and magnificent tigers living in such humble surroundings,where they were caged and unable to follow their natural instincts to hunt and kill.He then announced that he had decided to sacrifice himself in other to provide the Bengal tigers with support.He climbed up the outside of the cage and jumped inside expecting that the tigers would pounce on him.Instead the two tigers,a male and female,seemed more...
