 Operation Lake Sanity II: 47 Boko Haram and ISWAP Terrorists Surrender to MNJTF  On 15 May 2024, a total of 47 individuals associated with Boko Haram and the Islamic State's West Africa Province (ISWAP) have surrendered to troops of 403 Amphibious Brigade of MNJTF Sector 3, Nigeria. The group includes 7 men, 9 women, and 31 children, who turned themselves in at Kwatan Turare and Doron Baga, Kukawa LGA Borno State Nigeria. During the initial investigation conducted, it was revealed that these individuals managed to escape from Sharama, located in the Lake Chad Islands. Among those who surrendered was Mallam Muazu Adamu, a known fighter within the Jama'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihad (JAS) faction, who operated under Commander Alai Gana.  Hoodlums clash in Lagos, set market on fire


Many people were injured after hoodlums clashed in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State.


A fight started in the market situated in the area on Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning.


Some shops were set on fire while some goods were destroyed in the process.


Our correspondent who visited the scene of the incident gathered that an early intervention by the police was restricted by the hoodlums.


A fire service truck that drove into the market this morning was also forced to reverse after being pelted with stones.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
