 Gbagyi Lost 115 Members To Prolonged Bassa, Egbura Ethnic Crisis In Toto, Group Alleges  ***  The Gbagyi ethnic group in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State said it has recorded more casualties from the prolonged Bassa and Egbura ethno-political crisis in the State than even the conflicting parties.  A sociocultural group, the Gbagyi Cultural Renaissance Foundation, GCRF, made this known in a statement signed by its Secretary, Musa Dnasuwa on Saturday in Toto, lamenting that they have been traumatized due to incessant attacks and mischievous intimidation which has negatively impacted on their social, political and economic proficiency.  According to the statement issued after an emergency meeting on  Saturday, the Gbagyi ethnic group has lost 115 members and property worth hundreds of millions from 1997 when the ethno-political crisis started till date.  GCRF also lamented that several ancestral homes belonging to the Gbagyi ethnic group have gone into extinction as a result

 Susan Buckner, actress known for Grease role, dead at 72

Susan Buckner, renowned for her portrayal of cheerleader Patty Simcox in the iconic movie Grease, has died at the age of 72. Melissa Berthier, a spokesperson for the family, confirmed that Buckner passed away peacefully on May 2, surrounded by loved ones. The cause of her death has not been disclosed. Buckner’s daughter, Samantha MansfieldMansfield. 

According to Miss Washington pageant, they wrote on social media "It is with sadness that we pass along the news that Miss Washington 1971, Top Ten and Preliminary Swimsuit Winner at Miss America, and accomplished actor, Susan Buckner has passed away. Please see the attached article for more information. She was certainly a bright spirit who absolutely left a lovely legacy.


The Miss Washington State Executive Board sends love and light to all of Susan’s family and friends during this tender time.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
