Update in the brazen daylight abduction on Wednesday- Officials have arrested 43 year old Anjuan Mosby.
He has been charged in the tragic and senseless death of Michelle Hampton. Mosby forced Michelle to try to take $10,000 out of her bank account on Page boulevard. The bank only gave her $2,000. Mosby forced Michelle to go to two other banks and withdraw $1,000 out of each bank.
Mosby had shot at Michelle's sister as she was trying to follow behind him. She had her children in the car with her. Mosby struck her windshield with gunfire. The 911 dispatcher told Michelle's sister to back off, believing it was a road rage incident. The 911 operator believed it was a road rage incident because Mosby was actively trying to run Michelle's sister off of the road. Michelle's sister explained that she saw her sister abducted by Mosby and she feared she would never see her again if she didn't continue to tell Mosby. When Mosby opened fire on her, Michelle's sister backed off for her children's safety.
After Mosby opened fire on Michelle's sister and got her to quit following him, he took Michelle to the different banks.
Sadly, Mosby then allegedly drove Michelle to an alley on Greer Avenue and executed her.
Mosby is facing multiple charges. He is charged with first degree murder, first degree assault, two counts of first degree robbery, first degree attempted robbery, eight separate counts of armed criminal action, first degree kidnapping, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and firearm charges.
Our thoughts are continuously with this family.

Original story -Police are searching for the suspect in a shocking and brazen daytime abduction and homicide of a Missouri woman.
A family member witnessed the beginning of Michelle Hampton's tragic ordeal that ended in the worst possible way.
Authorities have reported that a close family member witnessed Michelle being forced into a vehicle by an armed man at 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The quick thinking family member knew she was witnessing something awful. She immediately called emergency services and began tailing the suspect from Clayton, where the incident occurred, into metro St.Louis.
However, the relative was forced to back off when the suspect opened fire at her on Euclid and Enright. Fortunately, she was not struck by the rounds, but lost the vehicle used to abduct Michelle.
Sadly, police found Michelle deceased on Greer Avenue at approximately 11a.m. This is only a 5 minute drive from where the family member lost the vehicle.
Detectives are working around the clock to identify a suspect. They believe this was a targeted attack and not random.
Friends, family and residents in the area are expressing frustration with the situation. Many feel as though officers should have intervened sooner.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Michelle as they cope with the heartbreaking events of her last day.
