 'ALF' child star Benji Gregory, 46, found dead in his car Benji Gregory, the child star who portrayed Brian Tanner in the 1980s television series "ALF," has died. He was 46.  The former actor was found dead in his car in Arizona, his former brother-in-law, Max Pfaffinger, confirmed to Fox News Digital.  SERAP to sue governors over LG allocations  The Socio-Economic Rights And Accountability Project (SERAP) has threatened to sue the 36 state governors and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) if they fail to give an account of the local government funds they have collected. The rights group stated this in an X post on Thursday shortly after the Supreme Court barred state governments from further retaining or utilising funds meant for the 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the country.  Taskforce Sets To Remove Shanties Built Along Canal Setback Lagos State Taskforce has served removal notices to squatters and illegal occupants dwelling across various canal setback in the State in an effort to curb the incessant flooding occurrences experienced during heavy downpours in the Metropolis. The notices which were served to settlers today by The Chairman of the Agency, CSP Adetayo Akerele, were carried out at strategic locations where it has been observed that squatters had built shanties and makeshift buildings too close to drainage system which contravene the laid down physical planning laws of at least 15 feet from the canal setback.  Reps to investigate NAHCON over 2024 Hajj operation The House of Representatives on Thursday, July 11, set up an ad-hoc committee to investigate the activities of Nigeria Hajj Commission and Federal Capital Territory Administration Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and their agents and sub agents in the conduct of the 2024 Hajj exercise.  This followed a motion by Hon. Mohammed Umar Bio (APC, Kwara) accusing the Commission and Federal Capital Territory Administration Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board of shoddy preparation and execution of the 2024 Hajj exercise.  The committee which is headed by Hon.
