GRAVE ROBBERS ARRESTED IN CAMEROON FOR HUMAN BONE TRAFFICKING. (PHOTOS).

 Grave Robbers Arrested in Maroua for Human Bone Trafficking Three men, aged between 25 and 30, were recently arrested in the Mvan area of Yaoundé with a full human skeleton. They had traveled from Maroua and were caught by the police after an investigation.  This led the authorities to Pouss village, in the Maga district of the Far North region, where they found about 30 graves that had been disturbed and emptied. The skeleton the suspects were caught with is said to be worth 6 million francs and was intended for a foreign buyer.  According to law enforcement, these bones are used to make a drug known as "pebble," which sells for 75,000 francs per gram. The three men will soon appear before the public prosecutor. More photos below.

 No faction in PDP – Bauchi governor declares Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has dismissed recent speculations of internal divisions within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The governor, who doubles as Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, declared that there is no faction within the party. Mohammed’s declaration is coming after the party’s embattled national chairman led PDP chairmen from the North East on a visit to the governor at the Government House, Bauchi, on Friday, amid reports of his purported suspension. Recalls that Damagum was reportedly suspended by a faction of the PDP’s National Working Committee, NWC, along with National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu due to alleged disloyalty.  A woman with no pilot training successfully landed an airplane after her pilot husband suffered a fatal mid-flight heart attack. 78-year-old Eliot Alper and his wife, 69-year-old Yvonne Kinane-Wells, flew out of Henderson Executive Airport on October 4th. Their destination was Monterey Regional Airport in Monterey, California.  Unfortunately they would suffer an unexpected and tragic detour. At some point during the flight Eliot suffered a heart attack and became incapacitated. Yvonne was forced to take over the controls of the twin-engine Beechcraft King Air 90. Yvonne was able to contact air-traffic control and successfully land the airplane with their assistance. In the released audio you can hear Yvonne being instructed on how to change course and altitude in order to land at Meadows Field in Bakesfield, CA. Lucky Frances was involved in a firefight with the Danish frigate Esbern Snare in the Gulf of Guinea, a region once notorious for piracy. A Danish Navy Seahawk helicopter took off from the frigate in response to information that a vessel with pirates was approaching several commercial ships. The clash resulted in the deaths of four of his companions, while Frances suffered severe injuries that required the amputation of his leg.  Zimbabwean authorities have identified seven suspects in connection with a massive US$4.4 million bank heist in Bulawayo. Interpol and South African Police have joined the investigation.  The suspects, believed to be local criminals based in South Africa, are linked to multiple robberies across Zimbabwe, including a gold heist worth US$675,000. They're accused of targeting financial institutions, businesses, and grocery shops, with significant hauls in Bulawayo. The suspects are Elijah Vumbunu alias Mupositori, David Sawadye, Israel Zulu, Kudakwashe Mudzingwa alias Umbro, Takafa Vumbunu alias Naison Mahembe, Paul Chinake and Brian Murape. Previous investigations revealed that after committing the crimes the gang would flee to South Africa.

 Kentucky woman arrested after her mother's dismembered and partially cooked remains found at home. Kentucky State Police were called to a home on  Briley Ridge in Robertson County early Wednesday afternoon. Once on scene they made contact with a man who had a very disturbing story to share.  According to the man he had been hired by the property owner to do some work around the home. He informed troopers that while he and an assistant were there working the day before, the homeowners daughter was confrontational and repeatedly "cast spells" on him and his employee. Despite the distractions they were able to complete their work that day and left the home.  It was upon his arrival the next day that things had taken a tragically dark turn. A letter shared by the interior ministry disclosed this on Thursday, October 10, 2024, after Biya’s prolonged absence fuelled widespread speculation he was unwell. Earlier this week, the authorities put out statements saying the president was on a private visit to Geneva and in good health, dismissing reports he had fallen ill as “pure fantasy”.  Mele Kyari, NNPCL CEO, loses daughter Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL), has lost his 25-year-old daughter. Details of her death were sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but NAN reported that the deceased named Fatima passed away on Friday. Vice-President Kashim Shettima has condoled with the CEO over the tragic incident. Shettima, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased, asked God to grant the family members the strength to bear the painful exit of their daughter, who was in her prime.  Tiktoker Salo Hospitalised After Being Robbed, Shot in Lagos TikTok sensation, Odesanmi Opeyemi, popularly known as Oloba Salo, has been hospitalized after being shot in Lekki, Lagos by an unknown gunman. In the late hours of Thursday, the content creator was reportedly shot in the leg and quickly rushed to the hospital. It was gathered that his gold chain was stolen in the process. This happened when Salo, known for his outspoken personality, was ambushed by some unknown gunmen while driving his white luxury car in Lekki, Lagos State. The three nations further emphasised their determination to respect "the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the countries in the region." According to the bill, titled “A Bill for an Act to Provide for the Assessment, Collection of, and Accounting for Revenue Accruing to the Federation, Federal, States, and Local Governments; Prescribe the Powers and Functions of Tax Authorities, and for Related Matters”, this legislation aims to enhance tax compliance and improve the country’s revenue collection process. The bill, obtained from the National Assembly and dated October 4, 2024, stated, “A person engaged in banking, insurance, stock-broking, or other financial services in Nigeria shall make the provision of a tax ID, a precondition for opening a new account or operating an existing account.” This requirement is part of

 Five arrested for stealing, vandalising transformers in Ogun Ogun State police command on Thursday said that its officers attached to Igbeba Division, Ijebu-Ode has arrested five suspects who allegedly specialised in the burglary of shops, stealing of amour cables, and vandalisation of transformers within Ijebu-Ode and its environs. Those arrested were 32-year-old Emmanuel also known as Ozon living at Emurin Ijebu Ode, Samuel Sunday Idoko aged 39 from Iwesi Street, Ijebu Ode, 21-year-old Tolulope Ilesanmi from No4, Ilepa Street, Ilese Ijebu, 29-year-old Sanusi Daniel from Epe, Lagos State, and Ogunkoya Victor aged 20 from Ijagun Road, Ijebu Ode The spokesperson of the state police command, Superintendent of Police, Omolola Odutola, disclosed this in a statement sent to journalists on Thursday.  Road accident claims life of wheelbarrow pusher in Lagos A tragic accident occurred on Thursday along Union Road by Cement Bus Stop, Dopemu, Lagos, leading to the death of a wheelbarrow pusher. The accident was caused by a commercial LT bus with registration number EPE 474 YJ, which lost control due to excessive speeding and collided with a construction crane positioned at the roadside. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Officers were swiftly on the scene, coordinating emergency efforts and securing the area.
