Christian passed false judgments, including one instructing the district collector to alter land records in Paldi.  INSURANCE SCAM: Onthatile Sebati, just 24 years old, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for masterminding the brutal murders of her family members, including her parents, pregnant sister, and three-year-old brother, when she was only 15. Her cousins, Tumelo and Kagiso Mokone, received life imprisonment for their role in the heinous crime. What's even more shocking is that Sebati orchestrated these murders to fraudulently obtain insurance money. She reportedly paid her cousins R100,000 from the insurance payouts after the incident. The murders took place in 2016 at their residence in Mmakau, near Brits, North West. The mutual cooperation agreement was signed at the ongoing SAHA EXPO Defence and Aerospace Exhibition 2024, Türkiye's and Europe's largest industrial cluster, in Istanbul, TRT Afrika reported. It is being attended by over 1,400 companies from more than 120 countries, 178 foreign procurement delegations, and 312 official delegations, including 25 ministerial-level teams.  Umahi Issues Seven-Day Ultimatum To Julius Berger Over Abuja-Kaduna Road The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Julius Berger to accept the Federal Government’s offer of N740.79bn for the completion of the 82km section II of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road. The ultimatum was issued during a courtesy visit to the Minister by the new Managing Director of Julius Berger Plc, Dr Pier Lubasch, accompanied by the outgoing Managing Director, Dr Lars Richter, at the Ministry Headquarters in Abuja. A statement later signed by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Minister of Works, Orji Uchenna, on Wednesday, said the company risks termination of the contract if it does not accept the offer.

 Lagos school expels students after father attacked teacher and cleaner The management of Rosebud School in Idimu, Lagos, has expelled three students after their father, Ayofe Kolawole, assaulted a teacher, Elizabeth Ogri, and a sanitary worker, Agnes Paul, on October 10, 2024.    The school’s Public Relations Officer, Vivian Shonekan, confirmed the expulsion, following a viral video of the 44-year-old Kolawole attacking the two women inside a classroom.   The shocking footage shows Kolawole physically assaulting Paul, while Ogri, fearing for her own safety, began filming the incident.  EFCC Unveils Cybercrime Rapid Response Service Determined to break the criminal networks and damage associated with   internet fraud across the country, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday,  October 22, 2024  unveiled a 24- hour Cybercrime Rapid Response Desk.   The unveiling,  which was done at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja by Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria , is meant to bring up  digital and accelerated information transmission on internet fraud from the public and un-impeded response from the Commission.
