Biden’s Visa Reform Temporarily Blocked by Texas Ruling A Texas judge has temporarily halted a key immigration reform policy introduced by President Joe Biden, which aimed to simplify the process for spouses of US citizens to secure legal status. On Monday, Judge J. Campbell Barker issued a 14-day administrative stay in response to a lawsuit filed by the Republican attorneys general of 16 states. The policy, announced in June, was designed to streamline the pathway to citizenship for approximately half a million immigrants married to US nationals. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, whose state is part of the lawsuit, vowed to continue the fight against the po
