"My son, Marquise Jackson, is 25 years old and still expects financial support. I currently give him $6,800 every month, but he says it’s not enough. Success cost me my relationship with Marquise. But at his age, isn’t it concerning that he’s still asking for child support? I give him about $81,000 a year because he doesn’t want to work. Marquise seems to think that just because he’s 50 Cent’s son, he doesn’t need to put in any effort. He feels entitled to a salary simply for being my son, but that’s not how life works. I once offered to set up a business for him that could generate at least $1 million a month, but he turned it down. His mentality of 'my dad’s money is mine' isn’t right. I keep talking about this publicly, hoping it will make him rethink and start working. No matter how wealthy you are, never let your children feel entitled to your money."- 50 Cent.
