Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.  California man lost in forest for nearly 2 weeks is reunited with his family. 34-year-old Lukas McClish went for what he thought was a 3 hour hike on Tuesday, June 11th, in Boulder Creek park, CA. However at some point during his trek he became disoriented and become hopelessly lost.  No one in his family noticed his absence until Father's Day rolled around with no word from Lukas. They then became concerned and filed a missing person's report. The biggest challenge searchers faced was the fact that Lukas had not told anyone where he was going. Lukas for his part spent his days drinking from creeks and foraging from berries while being shadowed by a mountain lion.  2 teen girls pass away in horrific jet ski accident on Illinois lake. The incident occurred Tuesday on Lake Marie in Antioch, Illinois. According to reports, 13-year-old Elle Kim, was the passenger on a jet ski driven by 16-year-old Sarina Vootkur. The two were traveling north at a high rate of speed near the channel that connects Lake Marie to Grass Lake. At the same time a 55-year-old man was traveling westbound in a Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser with three other passengers. Eyewitnesses say due to the high rate of speed the girls were traveling there was no way the boater could avoid the crash. Both girls were knocked unconscious and thrown into the water as a result of the crash.  Court Orders Final Forfeiture Of Over N12.18bn Properties Linked To Emefiele The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday ordered the final forfeiture to the Federal Government properties valued at over N11.14bn and another N1.04 billion linked to the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Godwin Emefiele. Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke made the order of permanent forfeiture after hearing an application filed and argued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), through its counsel Chineye Okezie. On June 5, 2024, The judge had upheld the anti-graft agency’s motion filed and argued by its counsel, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr. Rotimi Oyedepo for a temporary forfeiture of the properties. Oyedepo informed the court that Emefiele was suspected of having bought the choice properties by proxy, with the proceeds of fraud.  Abiodun issues three executive orders to establish two new agencies, restrains monarchs on MOU Ogun State Governor,  Prince Dapo Abiodun,  has issued three Exective Orders to establish two new agencies, namely: The Ogun State Mineral Resources Development Agency and The Ogun State Landscaping and Recreation Agency. In addition to the establishment of these two agencies, the third executive order, therefore restrains  monarchs from entering into any form of agreement or Memorandum of Understanding concerning mining activities or any other land matters in their domains.
