 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. A UTAH MAN LOST HIS LIFE TRYING TO PROVE HE COULD "DODGE A BULLET" AFTER SMOKING WEED WITH A FRIEND. THE FRIEND IS BEING CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER. (PHOTO).

 A Utah man lost his life trying to prove he could "dodge a bullet" after smoking weed with a friend. The friend is being charged with manslaughter. 


Police in Unfield, Utah responded to the report of a man shot in the chest on Saturday, Feb 5th. When police arrived on scene they discovered an unresponsive man on the floor and 23-year-old, Ashton Mann.


The unidentified victim was rushed to the hospital where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.


As detectives interviewed Mann the story began to emerge. Mann told detectives "he and his friend had smoked marijuana around 8 p.m. and began talking about guns." (This is only being brought up because it is from the man who has been placed under arrest.) 


They moved the conversation to the garage where they began messing around with 2 different handguns. It was at this point that the victim told Mann that he could dodge a bullet.


The 2 decided to see if he could jump out of the way before Mann could pull the trigger.  Mann said they unloaded the guns and began to test the theory.  He said they tried to see if he could jump out of the way approximately 6 times before the accident. He went on to tell detectives that the last time they had tried their experiment the gun had gone off. The round had struck the victim in the chest. 


Mann said the victim asked him to call 911 before collapsing and he rendered aid until first responders arrived.


Ashton Mann was arrested and charged with manslaughter and a 3rd degree felony firearms charge.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
