 How Suspected Internet Fraudster Killed EFCC Operative ā€“ EFCC The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detailed how one of its operatives, Aminu Salisu, an Assistant Superintendent, was killed by a suspected internet fraudster, Joshua Ikechukwu, during an operation in Awka, Anambra State.   According to a statement released by the EFCC on Sunday, the incident occurred on 17 January 2025 at Dr. J.O. Ukwutinife Close, Ifite. The operation, aimed at apprehending internet fraudsters, initially resulted in the arrest of 37 suspects at a two-story building.   However, Ikechukwu, who monitored the investigators via a CCTV camera at his door, refused to grant them entry despite their identification. A PARENT CAUGHT ON VIDEO PUNCHING A PRINCIPAL AND KNOCKING HER FROM HER CHAIR, RESULTING IN A HOSPITAL VISIT. (PHOTO).

 An out of control parent caught on video punching a principal and knocking her from her chair, resulting in a hospital visit. The shocking event occurred at the Iberville Elementary School in Plaquemine, Louisiana. In the now released video footage, you see the principal (seated in a chair), try to stop three children from walking onto the court while a game was being played. This act enraged Alessia Parker who is then seen quickly approaching the principal before punching her in the face hard enough to send her sprawling to the ground. The video shows the principal stand back up and use a tissue to wipe blood from her face. She suffered a busted lip. Fortunately, a Plaquemine police officer was in attendance and witnessed the entire episode. However Parker and another individual identified as Jemecia Godchaux were able to flee the scene before arrest. Jemecia's involvement included egging Parker on and engaging in abusive language to the principal and other parents in attendance....

 EDUCATION COMMISSIONER CHARGES EVALUATORS TO MONITOR SCHOOLS CLOSELY The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education in Lagos State, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, has directed evaluators from the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) to closely monitor schools below the tertiary level in the state.
