Former President Jimmy Carter was the first Commander in Chief to reach the age of 100, making him the oldest president in American history. Jimmy Carter was most known for his humanitarian efforts after his presidency. President Carter remained very active well into his 90s. He personally helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity.  Jimmy Carter survived cancer, serious physical injuries after falls and even the loss of his wife Rosalynn, who he adored. The couple were married for 77 years at the time of her death. Rest in peace, Jimmy Carter. Thank you for everything you did for the needy.  A shocking incident has shaken the community, as a 40-year-old detective from Malmesbury SAPS has been arrested for allegedly raping a 41-year-old woman in a police cell. According to the victim, the detective detained her on Christmas Day, 25 December 2024 under the pretext of a theft investigation. However, he later claimed it was a mistake. The victim alleges that the detective attempted to coerce her into consuming alcohol, and when she refused, he assaulted and raped her in the cell. In a disturbing turn of events, the detective allegedly dropped the victim off in town after the incident. A thorough investigation has been launched, and evidence, including medical reports and the victim’s torn clothing, has been collected. The detective is currently being held at Riebeek SAPS and is scheduled to appear in court on 30 December 2024. The community is outraged by the alleged incident, and authorities have vowed to take swift and decisive action to ensure justice is served.
