 Married Zimbabwean Bouncer Killed in Love Triangle Incident A Zimbabwean bouncer, Emmanuel Mahamba, was killed in Rivonia, Johannesburg, after being run over multiple times by a Ugandan man in a Ford Ranger. Reports say Emmanuel was having an affair with a woman named Thombizodzwa, who was also involved with the Ugandan man. Out of anger, the suspect allegedly hit Emmanuel twice and then drove over him seven times. Emmanuel was married and lived in Centurion. He was originally from Mvuma, Zimbabwe. The community is in shock over the tragic incident. One more photo below.

 Nigerian Association for Family Development releases communique on 18 biennial conference held in Awka

The Nigerian Association For Family Development (NAFAD) has made public the communique made at the 18th Biennial conference  themed: 'Marriage as a Vocation- Flourishing Despite Modern Challenges'.


The communique which was issued on March 30, 2025 at the Bishop AK Obiefuna  Retreat and Pastoral Centre, Okpunor, Awka, Anambra State was signed by NAFAD National President, Mr. Uche Okpala and its National Secretary,  Mrs Tayo Akinyede.


It was a gathering that brought together couples, relationship experts, and singles to explore practical ways to strengthen marriages and address contemporary relationship challenges.


According to the communique the event emphasized that marriage is a sacred vocation—a call to total self-giving, sacrifice, and shared purpose in building resilient families.


The key resolutions from discussions at the conference were based on several issues affecting homes and marriages and how best to handle them.


The first topic handled was, 'Marriage as a Vocation and Self-Giving Love.'


It recognized marriage as a lifelong commitment which requires selflessness, patience, and mutual support.


The impact was to, strengthen bonds, foster unity, and enhance mutual respect between spouses.


It also pinpointed the prioritizing of open and honest communication while encouraging couples to engage in regular, open dialogues to foster emotional bonds.


It's Impact was to Reduce misunderstandings and build deeper connections.


The third intention of the teaching was to foster understanding of the role of technology & social media in the home and marriage which pointed to the acknowledgement of how digital tools can both strengthen and weaken marriage and encouraging couples to use technology positively while setting healthy boundaries.


According to the communique the impact of the technology management teaching was to reduce digital distractions, promote quality time, and prevent online-related conflicts.


For Embracing Conflict Resolution Skills, the communique was aimed to teach couples how to manage disagreements constructively through understanding and compromise.


The Impact there was to prevent unnecessary separations and strengthens long-term commitment in marriages.


While touching on the Sacrificial Love vs. Individualism in Marriage the tutelage addressed the negative impact of excessive individualism on marriage.

Promoting selflessness, compromise, and shared responsibilities.


The impact of the sacrificial love vs individualism in marriage was to enhance commitment, reducing selfish tendencies, and to foster teamwork in marriage.


For Strengthening Shared Values and Family Goals the communique hinted on

encouraging alignment in faith, parenting, financial planning, and long-term aspirations.


The impact of this subject was to promote stability, reduce conflicts, and to foster a strong family foundation.


In Fostering a Supportive Community for Couples the release centred on establishing peer support groups, family enrichment and mentorship programmes.


The impact according to the decision was to provide encouragement, shared experiences, and solutions to marital challenges.


the communique in the conclusion stated that NAFAD was calling

on intending couples, families and communities to embrace these resolutions and actively work toward stronger marriages.


It also stated that by implementing these strategies, people can create a society where love flourishes, breakups decrease, and families remain united despite modern challenges.
