In a statement issued on Friday by the Waziri ofFIT Sokoto, Prof. Sambo Wali Junaidu, Chairman of the Sultanate Council’s Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs, the moon sighting will determine the end of Ramadan and the date for Eid el-Fitr celebrations. March 29 marks the 29th day of Ramadan 1446AH, making it the earliest possible date for sighting the new moon. The Sultan urged anyone who sights the moon to report their observations using the designated phone numbers provided. Muslims are encouraged to participate in the moon sighting, as it plays a crucial role in determining the official date for Eid. The Sultanate Council will announce the final decision based on verified reports.

 US Seizes $200,000 in Cryptocurrency Linked to Hamas The U.S. Justice Department has confiscated approximately $201,400 in cryptocurrency intended for Hamas, disrupting a terror financing operation. Investigators traced the funds to Hamas-controlled fundraising addresses, which have laundered over $1.5 million in virtual currency since October 2024.  Assam Police recently arrested a group of individuals involved in a crypto scam.  The suspects allegedly lured victims with promises of quick profits through fraudulent cryptocurrency schemes. Following an investigation, the police apprehended the scammers and confiscated evidence related to their activities. To announce the arrest, Assam Police shared an image on their official Instagram account, styled in the animation style of Studio Ghibli. The image depicted the scammers sitting in front of a police station with officers standing behind them. The post was captioned, “They thought they were in a Studio Ghibli plot! Magical money, vanishing wallets, no consequences. We gave these crypto scammers a very real ending.” The post quickly gained attention on social media, receiving hundreds of likes and comments.   A devastating fire outbreak has ravaged parts of the Onitsha Main Market in Anambra State, Nigeria. The blaze, which began at approximately 6:20 am on Friday, quickly spread to adjacent buildings, causing widespread damage. Eyewitnesses report that residents, passersby, and firefighters are working tirelessly to salvage properties and goods from the affected buildings. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Logan Guminski, a 27-year-old self described "content creator" from Ocala, Florida has been arrested for s*xual activity involving an animal and filming s*xual activity involving an animal. These charges come after local authorities received a tip in relation to a January 28th Instagram video. In the video that was in question, Guminski filmed herself intimately  abusing a chihuahua. They also found multiple videos and photos of Guminski with other dogs...
