  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the pastor of Christ Embassy, has blamed the Covid-19 vaccine for the death of Pope Francis.  Oyakhilome said that when the coronavirus vaccines came out, Pope Francis was one of those who encouraged people to take the vaccine and he also took it to serve as an example.     The pastor, who has made no secret his distrust for the Covid-19 vaccine, added that he was against the pontiff's stance on taking the vaccine.    He stated that since the Pope took the vaccine, he has been sick and in and out of hospital.  "He was killed by the vaccine," Oyakhilome said boldly. Vigilantes Tortures Man To Death Over Theft Suspicion In Kaduna


A21-year-old man, Abba Bello, has reportedly died after being tortured by a vigilante group in Tudun Nupawa area of Kaduna State. 


Sources revealed that Bello was arrested on April 2, 2025, by a security guard at Old Panteka market on suspicion of theft. 


He was allegedly subjected to severe beatings under the supervision of Abdullahi Usman, described as a suspected commander of the group. 


The torture left Bello unconscious and in critical condition, a security analyst, Zagazola Makama reports. 


According to the the report, the victim was first rushed to Yusuf Dantsoho Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment before being transferred to Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital. 


Despite medical intervention, Bello was said to had succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of April 4, 2025, at approximately 5am  


The deceased’s family declined a post-mortem examination, and his body was released for burial in accordance with their wishes.  


Police authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway, with efforts ongoing to apprehend the suspects, including Usman and others linked to the incident.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
