Kaduna State has once again distinguished itself on the national stage, emerging as a major winner at the 2025 Primary Health Care (PHC) Leadership Challenge, where it secured a $400,000 award for outstanding performance.
The award was presented to the state in recognition of its achievements in key areas, including Human Resources for Health, health facility infrastructure, and the supply of essential medical equipment.
The feat further highlights the commitment of the Kaduna State Government under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani to strengthening primary healthcare delivery.
Kaduna State’s latest success builds on its strong performance at the 2024 PHC Leadership Challenge, where it was named the best-performing state in the North-West region and received a $500,000 award. That recognition earned the state international acclaim for its investments and leadership in the healthcare sector.
