Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has warned that any existential conflict with India could trigger a nuclear response with global consequences. Speaking at a private black-tie dinner in Tampa, Florida, on August 10 during his U.S. visit, Munir reportedly said Pakistan would “take half the world down” if pushed to the brink. According to ThePrint, Munir threatened to target any future Indian dams on the Indus River, in light of New Delhi’s decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty after the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
