 EFCC Arrests Six for Alleged Internet Fraud in Uyo   Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC, Uyo Zonal Directorate, have  arrested six suspected  internet fraudsters at Ekamba and Ekpri Nsukara areas of Nwaniba, in Akwa Ibom State. Four of the suspects were arrested at Ekamba Nsukara, while the other two were apprehended at Ekpri Nsukara. The intelligence -driven arrest led to the recovery of the following items, eight mobile phones and two laptops. The suspects will be charged to court soon.

 Chris Brown pleads not guilty to nightclub bottle attack charges On July 11, Chris Brown appeared at Southwark Crown Court in London, where he formally denied all three charges related to a 2023 nightclub assault at Tape in Mayfair. Brown, alongside co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu, is accused of striking a man with a bottle, then continuing the attack across the venue. The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Revd Dr Henry Ndukuba, listed a set of protocols that include how guests are to be conducted in the church. The Church made it clear that henceforth, the church pulpit shall not be acceded to guests to air political views and agendas. This is to safeguard the political neutrality of the Church.
