The Imo State Police Command is set to arraign five men for the violent assault of a 55-year-old woman, Mrs. Ndidiamaka Agu, in Emekuku, Owerri North Local Government Area. The state police spokesperson DSP Henry Okoye, disclosed this on Monday in Owerri. The Imo State Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, had on November 3, 2025, ordered an investigation and arrest of six men seen b€ating Ndidiamaka in a circulating video. Okoye said that five of the suspects have been arrested, while efforts continue to apprehend the sixth suspect, currently on the run. The arrested men are Onyekachi Njoku, 40; Chiazor Osuji, 45; Chukwuma Iwuala, 46; Eugene Njoku; and Njoku Emmanuel, 35, all from Uboegbelu in Emekuku, Owerri North LGA.
