38-year-old woman arrested for stealing 1-week-old baby in Wa A 38-year-old woman, Abena Martha Maanibeh, has been arrested by the Upper West Regional Police for allegedly stealing a one-week-old baby and valuables belonging to the child’s mother at the Wa Market (Kejetia). According to Crime Check TV, the suspect tricked the baby’s mother, Ms. Kwofie Mwinbelle, into buying diapers and used the opportunity to escape with the baby, a handbag, phone, cash, and other belongings. Police tracked her down to her hideout at Nuobollie in the Savannah Region, where she was arrested. Thankfully, the baby has been safely rescued and reunited with the mother, while some of the stolen items were also recovered. Police say investigations are still ongoing.

 Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills residence targeted in burglary Lionel Richie’s Beverly Hills home was the target of a burglary early Friday morning. Beverly Hills police responded to a call shortly after midnight, reporting a residential break-in in the 90210 neighborhood, where the singer-songwriter owns a property.
