Company Encore Management filed a lawsuit against Thornton and her ex-boyfriend and roommate, Jared McGriff, on Sept. 11. In court docs viewed by Page six, the company claims Thornton and McGriff rented a property and “fail[ed] to pay rent” on the unit located in Atlanta.  A former WWE wrestler was found clinging to life on the side of an Arkansas highway only 3 days after his divorce.  Now his ex and her new man are being charged. 41-year-old Kevin Nikel was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen on July 11th, 2025. Nigel was rushed to a nearby hospital where he sadly passed away.  Now, months later, Nikel's ex-wife, 40-year-old Amanda Penny and her new boyfriend, 51-year-old Michael Hogue, are being charged in connection with his passing.   Details on how the crime was perpetrated are scarce at this point.  An 11-year-old Pennsylvania boy was chased into a Family Dollar by a bear, then escaped with the cashier, only seconds before the bear leapt the counter. 11-year-old Cole Frazee was waiting in the parking lot at the local Family Dollar in Markleysburg, PA, when he began to become impatient.  Cole decided to exit the vehicle in order to see what was taking his father so long. Cole did not realize that this decision would soon have him running for his life. Cole was walking towards the store when he noticed a black bear staring at him.  Kanu’s Legal Team Rejects Federal High Court Judgment, Heads to Appeal Court The legal team representing the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has formally rejected the recent judgment sentencing Nnamdi kanu to life imprisonment delivered by the Federal High Court.  the team led by constitutional lawyer Aloy Ejimakor expressed strong dissatisfaction with the ruling, describing it as unacceptable and fundamentally flawed. According to Ejimakor, the decision failed to  follow any legal law or logic. He confirmed that the legal team would immediately proceed to the Court of Appeal to challenge the judgment, insisting that justice must prevail. Ejimakor reiterated the team's commitment to exhausting all legal avenues to secure Kanu’s release, emphasizing that the fight for justice is far from over.

 DSS ARRAIGNS 7 IPOB COMMANDERS;  GIVES UPDATE  ON OTHER TERRORISM TRIALS IN NIGERIA   The  Department of State Services (DSS) has filed Terrorism Charges against seven IPOB key commanders linked to Simon Ekpa before a Federal High Court in Abuja.    In the three separate cases, FHC/ABJ/CR/632/2025; FHC/ABJ/CR/633/2025 and FHC/ABJ/CR/634/2025, filed on 19 November, the seven suspects were accused of receiving funds and other material support from Simon Ekpa and other foreign-based members of IPOB.    A key suspect, Ibrahim Ali Larabo, accused of terrorism financing, is an illegal immigrant from the Republic of Niger, operating a Bureau de change (BDC) without a licence. The soldiers were attacked on Wednesday close to the village of Garbougna in the Tillaberi region near the border with Mali and Burkina Faso, the three sources said. The tri-border region is known as a hub of jihadist activity in West Africa linked to Islamic State and al Qaeda. One source put the death toll at 20 soldiers, while a second said more than a dozen soldiers were killed and a third source said at least 10 had died.  Three guests and a motor boy were electrocuted during a chieftaincy title party at Idimu in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State. The yet-to-be-identified motor boy, however, d!ed on the spot. An eyewitness, Femi Ajiboye, told punch during a visit to the community on Wednesday, November 19, that a resident who had just been conferred with a chieftaincy title during the anniversary decided to host a party in the Anjorin Street on November 11.  While the celebration was ongoing, a truck attempting to navigate the street was obstructed by one of the canopies mounted across the road. As a result, some party guests assisted by one of the truck’s occupants attempted to lift the canopy to allow the vehicle to pass.  Nnamdi Kanu sentenced to life imprisonment Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court has handed IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu a life sentence after finding him guilty on all seven counts related to terrorism. Kanu was absent from court, having previously insisted that the judgment should not proceed without him. According to the judge, his Radio Biafra broadcasts and his role in ordering sit-at-home protests in South-Eastern states were considered acts of terrorism — targeting security personnel and restricting citizens’ freedoms.  ECOWAS WARNS TERRORISM NOW THREATENS ALL OF WEST AFRICA; SETS TO DEPLOY 1,650 STANDBY FORCE President of the ECOWAS Commission, Dr. Alieu Omar Touray has warned that terrorism has spread beyond the Sahel and Lake Chad Basin to threaten all of West Africa, with early-warning data showing 450 attacks and more than 1,900 deaths in 2025.  Dr. Touray spoke  in New York, United States, during discussions at the United Nations Security Council on strengthening regional cooperation in the fight against terrorism in West Africa and the Sahel.  CHIEF OF ARMY STAFF IN GUSAU, ZAMFARA STATE The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shu’aibu, has arrived in Gusau on an operational visit to Zamfara State. Gen. Shaibu is at the Headquarters of the Joint Task Force, Operation Fansa Yamma, in Zamfara State as part of his ongoing operational tour of frontline formations. On arrival, the Army Chief was received by senior commanders and accorded a ceremonial salute by the Guard of Honour. The Chief of Army Staff is  accompanied by some senior officers, including representatives of the Chief of Naval Staff and the Chief of the Air Staff, among other top military officials.  GOVERNOR SANWO-OLU SETS TO COMMISSION 233 HOUSING UNITS AT ABRAHAM ADESANYA HOUSING ESTATE. The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to commission 233 Housing Units at Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate, Ajah, on Friday, November 21st, 2025. The delivery of the 233 home units will increase the housing stock available for the teeming population seeking befitting accommodation in the Lekki axis. This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Housing in Lagos State, Hon. Moruf Akinderu Fatai, during a chat with journalists in his office. He stated that the estate consists of 34 blocks of 233 home units. The project is a joint venture real estate development executed by Urban Shelter LTD, a private organisation. The estate was built on 3.7 hectares of land in the fully functional Abraham Adesanya Housing Estate along the Lekki-Epe expressway. Hon.
