 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  Marion county, Illinois- a former elected official has been denied pretrial release following seven felony counts of child abuse.  Troy Cannon, the recent former coroner of Marion County, just appeared in court at the Marion County Courthouse. Cannon asked for a medical release and was denied. His attorney argued that the children in question were in a different county and asked for his client to be released, however this was denied due to the earlier finding of the court that Cannon should remain in jail due to all available monitoring not  being enough to protect minor females in the community.  Canon has pleaded not guilty to the seven felony counts of child a****. He is demanding a jury trial.   Troy Cannon will remain in the Marion County Jail until his trial, and most likely during his trial.  His first pretrial  hearing will be July 30th at 10 A.M.  Partial Verdict Reached in Diddy Sex Trafficking Trial A New York jury has reached a verdict on four of five charges against Sean “Diddy” Combs  but not the most serious charge of racketeering conspiracy. Jurors are divided and say some members have “unpersuadable views” on both sides. Rather than accepting a partial verdict, Judge Arun Subramanian ordered the jury to keep deliberating. The racketeering charge, which falls under RICO law, includes serious allegations of organized drug distribution, abuse, and sexual exploitation  and could land Combs in prison for life. ⚖️ The deliberations continue tomorrow. The jury has already reviewed graphic and emotional testimony, including that of former girlfriend Cassie, who described repeated abuse, threats, and disturbing incidents from hotel rooms to yachts.

 US MAY REVOKE CITIZENSHIP OF 25 MILLION IMMIGRANTS  The Trump administration has directed the Justice Department to consider revoking the citizenship of 25 million immigrants that became naturalized in the United States. The focus of the denaturalization agenda is on American citizens born abroad but who returned home to the US for citizenship. This category also includes citizens that provided untrue information during the naturalization process or those that committed crimes in the society. In revoking their citizenship, affected immigrants will not have access to legal representation and the government will have little to no burden of proof in trying them.

 KAZAKHSTAN BANS GARMENTS THAT COVER FACES After Uzbekistan banned garments that cover people's faces in 2023 and Kyrgyzstan did the same in January 2025, Kazakhstan government has announced a ban on face-covering garments in public. Muslim women usually wear niqab and burqa to cover their entire bodies in public, but Kazakhstan is now citing security concerns as a reason for the prohibition. “Wearing items of clothing in public places that impede facial recognition is prohibited, except in cases where this is necessary to comply with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, fulfill official duties or for medical, civil defense, weather-related or event-specific purposes,” a new law reportedly states. The new law implementing the ban was reportedly signed by Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
