In the first study, adults with gum disease were more likely to show changes in the white matter of their brains. “Gum disease is associated with higher inflammation, and inflammation has been tied to atherosclerosis as well as hardening of small blood vessels, as we observed in this study,” said Dr. Souvik Sen, a neurology professor at the University of South Carolina. A company claiming to be affiliated to Swiss Stock Exchange has reported vanished after operating a high-yield investment scheme in Ladipo, Lagos, for just two months.  The firm promised investors a 50% return in seven days offering that is for every ₦1million you invest you get ₦1.5 million in 7 days. The company aggressively marketed its offer in Ladipo, targeting traders and business owners. Several individuals reportedly invested large sums, including ₦1.5 million, ₦3 million, ₦5 million, and even ₦60 million. As of today, the company has allegedly disappeared, leaving investors devastated and demanding answers. One trader shared, “They’ve been walking around convincing people, but I paid deaf ears. Authorities report that between June and August, 47 vehicles were taken from Avis Budget Car Rental at Syracuse Hancock International Airport, with a total value exceeding $1 million. Police allege that Milton W. Thompson III, 31, a former employee of the rental company, used his knowledge of the operation to carry out the thefts and rent the cars to customers around Onondaga County.
