BIANCA OJUKWU REACTS TO NNAMDI KANU CONVICTION. (PHOTO). #PRESS RELEASE.

Image
Re. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's sentence, 20th November 2025 I have just returned from Zanzibar, Tanzania, where I have been for the past five days on NTAC monitoring exercise to the sad news of the conviction and sentencing of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on terrorism charges. This is not the outcome we prayed for, but it is a reality that is now upon us.  There comes a time in the history of a people when there is need for calm.  I therefore advise Ndigbo, and Nigerians as a whole, that such a period is now! There is utmost need to exercise restraint in response to this situation. All actions which could be deemed incendiary, and which might escalate the situation at home or in the diaspora should be curtailed. A word is enough for the wise. This situation requires careful reflection and constructive dialogue involving  all Igbo stakeholders, Governors, senators, Members of the House of Representatives, clergy, traditional rulers,  politicians and business people to engage with g...

Wendy Osefo the Real housewives of Potomac star posted the press release on her Instagram story with the caption "Joint Statement from the Osefo Legal Team  At the outset, Police failed to properly investigate the initial burglary despite clear indications of a break-in, displaying clear bias against the Osefo family.  The Osefos heard nothing but silence from police for over 18 months despite complete cooperation and requests for updates. It is common knowledge that other Real Housewives cast members have also been victimized after documenting their travel on social media, yet none faced this level of scrutiny or criminal charges. We believe it is deeply unjust for the Sheriffs Office and Office of the State's Attorney for Carroll County to publicly expose confidential financial information about Eddie and Wendy Osefo.  What is most disturbing is that the State appears to have begun investigating only after charging the Osefos, which is a highly irregular approach that r...

9/11 families' lawsuit ties Saudi officials to attack despite prince’s denial Saudi officials’ alleged ties to the 9/11 attacks are coming under renewed scrutiny as a federal court case continues, even as Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman downplays the kingdom’s role. The lawsuit, filed under the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act of 2016, is the first time a foreign sovereign has been sued in a U.S. court for the attacks that killed 2,977 people. Families of victims and insurers have pursued the case for more than two decades, seeking what has been described as a trillion-dollar judgment. Court filings allege that two Saudi officials, Omar al Bayoumi and Al Fahad Thumairy, assisted two of the eventual hijackers, Nawaf al Hazmi and Khalid al Mihdhar, when they arrived in Southern California in early 2000.  Paramount, Comcast, and Netflix place bids for Warner Bros. Discovery  Hollywood’s corporate battle is heating up as Paramount, Comcast, and Netflix submit bids to acquire all or part of Warner Bros. Discovery, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown in the media world. The move comes as WBD, home to Warner Bros. Pictures and HBO Max, seeks to maximize shareholder value amid a challenging environment for traditional media companies. The company had previously indicated it might pursue a split separating its streaming and studio assets from its cable networks, but a takeover bid could potentially offer even greater returns. Paramount is aiming for the full company, including cable channels such as CNN and TBS, while Netflix and Comcast are targeting only WBD’s streaming and studio divisions. Paramount would need to raise funds to support its offer, having previously submitted a cash and stock bid of $23.50 per share, below WBD board expectations of near $30. Comcast would...

KIA RECALLS OVER 250,000 VEHICLES DUE TO RISK OF FUEL TANK MELTING. (PHOTO).

Image
Kia recalls over 250,000 vehicles due to risk of fuel tank melting Kia is recalling over 250,000 vehicles due to a defect that could cause fuel tanks to melt. The recall, announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Nov. 17, affects 2021–2024 Kia K5 models built at the Kia Georgia plant between Mar. 27, 2020, and Jan. 23, 2024. The issue only involves vehicles equipped with the 1.6L turbocharged gasoline direct injection engine; 2025 K5 models are not affected. The problem stems from the purge control system check valve, which directs airflow from the charcoal canister to the engine. Over time, the valve may deteriorate, allowing pressurized air from the intake manifold into the fuel tank. This can cause the tank to expand and contact hot exhaust components, potentially melting the tank and creating a fuel leak, which increases the risk of fire. Warning signs can include a popping sound from the fuel tank area, a check engine light, or a vehicle running rough...
