 BOYFRIEND SHOOTS MOTHER OF THREE AT WEDDING RECEPTION  A 21-year-old suspect, Shaka Vaughn Phillips, reportedly shot dead the 26-year-old mother of his baby at a wedding reception on Saturday.  The deceased, Jenel Pollydore, had two children before birthing the third with Phillips. The couple reportedly lived together but due to constant domestic violence, they separated and she obtained a restraining order against him. Eyewitnesses said the suspect approached the deceased at the wedding reception and shot her point-blank. The injured teacher managed to run but the assailant discharged another round after her until she fell motionless. Police recovered spent shells from the scene and deposited the slain to a morgue. Investigation has intensified to apprehend Phillips who is still on the run.  One more photo below. 

 TRUMP WANTS OBAMA ARRESTED OVER COUP ALLEGATIONS  President Donald Trump suggested on Truth Social that former President Barack Obama should be arrested over intelligence that he may have worked for Trump's loss in the 2016 general elections.  Following the release of 114 documents declassified by the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump posted an AI-generated video in which the FBI handcuffs and leads Obama away from the White House.  Kano Judiciary Demotes Registrar, Clerk for Forgery, Absenteeism The Kano State Judicial Service Commission has demoted Court Registrar Adamu Salisu for forging affidavits and impersonating a Commissioner for Oaths. A clerical assistant, Yusuf Ayuba, was also demoted for being absent without justification for four months. The commission said the sanctions aim to uphold discipline and integrity in the judiciary.

Shatta Wale Falls on Stage During Kumasi Performance, Blasts Fan for Causing It Ghanaian dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, widely known as Shatta Wale, is trending on social media after falling on stage while performing at an event in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.  He was singing his hit song, ‘Taking Over’, at the grand opening show of the Golden Dew Hotel on Saturday, July 19, 2025.  In a video on X sighted by Ghbase News, the musician was performing when a fan climbed onto the stage and attempted to get close to Shatta Wale.  The overly excited fan bumped into Shatta Wale while he was performing on stage. Meanwhile, the security guards chased after the fan, caught him on the floor, and dragged him offstage.  As Shatta Wale quickly got back up after falling, paused, and addressed the fan’s action.  He expressed his dissatisfaction, as he was unhappy with the stage invasion and wondered what would have happened if he had gotten injured. Her sudden silence on social media sparked concern among followers, only for it to be later revealed that she had been battling an illness.  After weeks of speculation, her death was confirmed by friends and family on TikTok. Popular accounts like @SolidGist and @AloBlogger were among the first to break the news, while a relative also confirmed her passing during a live session hosted by her online community on Sunday.
