Big Tech ramps up living room rivalry as Instagram launches Reels app for TVs  The battle for the future of television is intensifying, and Meta is making its move. The company announced the launch of an Instagram Reels app for connected TVs, starting with Amazon Fire TV devices. The app aims to bring Reels directly to the living room, allowing users to watch short-form videos on a larger screen alongside friends and family.  SECURITY IN ANAMBRA: CP ORUTUGU INTERVENES IN A LAND DISPUTE AT OGU CLAN, UBARUSIOYE VILLAGE, NANDO AND SEEKS THE INPUTS OF  STAKEHOLDERS TO RESOLVE THE CRISIS


as the parties sign an undertaking not to cause any further breach of the peace


The Commissioner of Police Anambra State, *CP Ikioye Orutugu _fwc MNIPS Phd_* on 26th April 2025 intervened in a land dispute at Ogu Clan, Ubarusioye Village, Nando. He further sought the input and suggestions of relevant stakeholders to resolve the crisis and prevent further escalation.


The *CP* during the interview of the parties in his Office at the State Police Command Headquarters, Awka, highlighted the importance of community-led solutions and collaborative problem-solving in dispute resolution, especially on land issues and peaceful coexistence. 


Given the above, the Command witnessed the signing of an undertaking of the parties not to cause any further breach of the peace pending the outcome of the stakeholder's resolutions. 


In attendance include: Mr Alexander Nwabueze - Chairman of Umunnamoke kindred, Dr Chijioke Ifejika - Chairman of Adagbe-Ogu kindred,  Mr Ebenezer Chibuzor - on behalf of the Chairman of  Ukwuorji kindred, the Divisional Police Officer Otuocha and other members of the Village. 


The Command has stepped up its initiative on Alternative Dispute Resolution *(ADR)* and is also part of the Operational strategy of the recently launched Operation Udo Ga Chi - Zero Kidnapping by the Police and other security agencies in the State.
