In its continued drive to enhance academic excellence and institutional growth, Gboko Polytechnic, Gboko, today, hosted a delegation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for an on-the-spot accreditation exercise of selected programmes.

The NBTE team was led by the Director of Polytechnic Programmes, Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar, who was ably represented by Dr. Moses Titus.

Speaking during the visit, the Proprietor of Gboko Polytechnic, Elder Benjamin Haanongun Achiatar Ph.D, warmly welcomed the team and expressed his appreciation for their ongoing support. He noted that each visit from the NBTE signifies not only progress but a reaffirmation that the institution is moving forward. Dr. Achiatar acknowledged the challenges faced by private institutions, particularly in the absence of government funding but affirmed the institution's yearning for continuous growth.

In his remarks, the team leader, Dr. Moses Titus (on behalf of Dr. Fatima Kabir Umar), commended the level of development achieved since the board's last visit. He noted the significant strides made in infrastructure,  academic facilities and man power despite the institution’s near zero access to intervention funds such as TETFund. Dr. Titus hyped the management for maintaining high standards and urged them to sustain the current pace of growth.
