 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity.  Nicola Peltz has reportedly deleted all traces of the Beckham family from her Instagram account, including a birthday tribute to her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham, following reports that her husband Brooklyn Beckham has blocked his parents and siblings on social media.


The deleted post dated back to April 2024, when Victoria celebrated her 50th birthday. Nicola had written: "Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever."


The move comes after Brooklyn's younger brother Cruz clarified that the Beckhams had not unfollowed Brooklyn but rather "woke up blocked" by him. Cruz wrote: "My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… They woke up blocked… as did I."


Nicola has also reportedly disabled comments on recent Instagram posts. The family tensions reportedly stem from issues surrounding Brooklyn and Nicola's 2022 wedding. Brooklyn has missed several major family milestones, instead spending time with Nicola's family in the United States.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
