Kabush kabash is a slang or pidgin expression, most prominent by Odumeje, that doesn’t have a direct, single-word English translation. Its meaning is deeply contextual and often tied to spiritual confrontation while speaking in tongues, or glossolalia. Speaking in tongues is the practice of uttering speech-like syllables or languages unknown to the speaker, often considered a spiritual gift in Christianity. During his declaration, Odumeje performed a series of dramatic hand gestures, forming an ‘X’ with his arms while simultaneously raising his index and middle fingers — a signature aspect of his theatric d...

Image
Tesla loses crown as world’s largest electric vehicle maker after second straight year of sales decline  Tesla has lost its position as the world’s top electric vehicle maker after sales fell for a second consecutive year, pressured by political backlash surrounding CEO Elon Musk, the expiration of U.S. tax incentives, and intensifying global competition. The company reported delivering 1.64 million vehicles in 2025, a 9% decline from the prior year. Chinese automaker BYD surpassed Tesla by a wide margin, selling 2.26 million vehicles and claiming the global lead in EV sales. The shift marks a dramatic reversal for Tesla, once viewed as an unstoppable force that reshaped the auto industry and propelled Musk to the top ranks of global wealth. The downturn came despite high-profile political support early last year, when President Donald Trump publicly praised Musk and announced plans to buy a Tesla. Sales weakened further in the fourth quarter, with deliveries totaling 418,227 vehic...

Grok acknowledged the issue on X, formerly Twitter, confirming there were “isolated cases” in which users received AI-generated images depicting minors in minimal clothing. The chatbot also warned that the company behind it, xAI, could face investigations or lawsuits over the content. The images reportedly violated Grok’s terms of service, which ban sexualized depictions of children. The incidents prompted reactions from authorities abroad. Lawmakers argued that Trump bypassed Congress and overstepped his authority by launching the operation without prior authorization. The strikes targeted Venezuelan anti-air and other military installations, reportedly to protect U.S. personnel involved in Maduro’s capture. Republicans, however, defended the move, with Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) saying Trump “likely” acted under his constitutional authority to protect American forces abroad. Democrats expressed concern over the legality and precedent of the operation. Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.J.) called the strikes “not sound foreign policy” and warned that they could send a dangerous signal to world leaders that targeting a head of state is acceptable U.S. policy. Rep. Darren Soto...
