In today’s tech-driven world, many children grow up with easy access to phones, social media, and the internet. Khloé Kardashian, however, is taking a different approach with her kids, True and Tatum Thompson.
On her Khloé in Wonderland podcast, she explained that she doesn’t believe young children should be online. At 41, she feels strongly that her kids don’t need exposure to the internet just yet.
Her son Tatum is only three, so the issue isn’t pressing for him. But her daughter True, who turns eight in April, is beginning to show more awareness.
Kardashian shared that she’s open to discussing giving True a phone when she turns 12, though that doesn’t mean social media will come with it. Ideally, she’d prefer her children wait until 16 or 17 before joining platforms like TikTok or Instagram.
For now, she emphasizes that her kids have no access to Google or any online tools.
Because of this, True and Tatum don’t realize their mother is famous.
Kardashian explained that she doesn’t talk about her celebrity status at home, and her children have never even watched The Kardashians, despite being part of the show themselves.
By keeping them offline and shielding them from fame, she hopes to preserve their childhood and delay the pressures of digital life.
