Paternity of Mohbad’s son: Lagos High court orders three DNA tests to be done abroad The Ikorodu High Court in Lagos state has ordered three DNA tests to be conducted abroad to determine the paternity of Liam, the child late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, left behind. Liam’s parternity has been disputed on several occassions by Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer. Mr Aloba says that the remains of late Mohbad who passed way on September 27, 2023, will not be laid to rest until a DNA test is done to determine Liam’s paternity. A 23-YEAR-OLD INDIAN WOMAN, ALLEGEDLY DIED BY SUICIDE AFTER BEING DEEPLY HURT BY A DEROGATORY REMARK MADE BY HER HUSBAND IN FRONT OF HER SISTER, POLICE SAID. (PHOTO).

 A 23-year-old Indian woman, Tannu Singh, allegedly died by suicide after being deeply hurt by a derogatory remark made by her husband in front of her sister, police said.  The incident occurred at her residence in Indiranagar’s Takrohi area last Wednesday, Times of India reported.  The woman reportedly took the extreme step after her husband allegedly called her a “monkey” during a moment of joking, which left her emotionally distressed. The deceased had married Rahul Srivastava, a resident of Takrohi, about four years ago following a love relationship.  Rahul works as an auto-rickshaw driver, while Tannu was learning modelling. The couple lived together in Indiranagar. According to information shared by the husband, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when Rahul, Tannu, her sister Anjali, and their son Abhay were at home. This was at separate meetings with members of the Civil Society and media organisations at the first quarterly consultative meeting for 2026. The suspect allegedly abused and inflicted serious injuries on a 17-year old girl said to be her house help in Awka.  Federal Reserve governor Miran resigns from White House position  Federal Reserve governor Stephen Miran has resigned as chair of the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers, ending a rare arrangement in which he simultaneously held posts at both the Fed and the White House. The resignation was confirmed Tuesday by White House spokesman Kush Desai. Miran was appointed to the Fed’s seven-member board of governors by President Donald Trump in September, filling the remainder of Adriana Kugler’s term, which ended Jan. 31. While he steps down from the CEA, he can continue serving on the Fed board until a Senate-confirmed replacement is named.
