The operation followed credible intelligence, prompting troops deployed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Wukari to take immediate action.  Ifunanya, the Singer bitten to death by snake in Abuja laid to rest The remains of Late singer Ifunanya Nwangene has been buried in her hometown in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu state today February 14.. Ms Nwangene was confirmed de@d at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abuja, after she was bitten by a snake at her home on January 31, 2026. Ifunanya who was gaining popularity with her amazing voice, reportedly passed away after visiting two hospitals including the FMC and was told they had no anti-venom. Her tragic death triggered an outpouring of shock, tributes, and condolences from fans and colleagues across social media platforms. She was 26 years old. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.  Five armed robbery suspects arrested in Seshego after intelligence-driven police operation Police in Limpopo have arrested five suspects linked to a string of armed robberies across Seshego, Matlala, and Phaudi. Officers recovered two 9mm pistols, live ammunition, 18 cellphones, a laptop, and suspected stolen designer clothing and shoes. The suspects were intercepted while fleeing in two vehicles shortly after a robbery at Ga-Manamela village. An intelligence-led operation on Thursday, 12 February 2026, brought together the Provincial Tracking Team, Provincial Investigations Unit, and Polokwane Flying Squad. The team traced a white Toyota Corolla and a pink Chevrolet Spark traveling along Matlala Road and stopped them at Sengatane village. Five occupants, aged between 25 and 30, failed to provide proof of ownership for the recovered items.  MAN ALLEGEDLY DRUGS WOMAN, FLEES WITH CASH AS CCTV TRAIL EMERGES IN GBOKO HOTEL  A man identified as Mr. Lawal allegedly drugged a woman at Doripet Hotels in Gboko before fleeing with her money, phone, and other belongings. According to reports, the suspect checked into the hotel with the woman, reportedly administered a substance to incapacitate her, and allegedly assaulted her. He then left the hotel with her possessions. Hotel sources confirmed that CCTV cameras captured the entire incident, providing evidence that could assist authorities in tracking down the suspect. No official statement has yet been released by police, but residents have urged swift action to ensure the suspect is apprehended and justice is served.
