 Anambra Government Dissolves Nkwo Umueze Market Leadership Over Defiance of Monday Trading Directive By Ebele Iyke Odili/Amaka Isikala  The Anambra State Government has dissolved the caretaker committee of Nkwo Umueze Market for failing to comply with the state’s directive mandating full commercial activities on Mondays. The dissolved committee, led by Mr. Onyeka Ekemezie, has been relieved of its duties with immediate effect.  The former chairman and members of the committee have consequently ceased to function as the recognized leadership of the market. The decision follows a clear policy position of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo that no market in the state should remain closed on Mondays under any guise.  The Governor had earlier warned that any market leadership found enforcing or encouraging continued closure would be dissolved in the interest of economic stability and public order.  Court approves three Labs for DNA tests to determine paternity of Mohbad’s son The Ikorodu High Court in Lagos state has approved three laboratories, two in the United Kingdom and one in the United States where DNA tests are to be conducted to determine the paternity of Liam, the child late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, left behind. Liam’s paternity has been disputed on several occasions by Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer. Mr Aloba says that the remains of late Mohbad who passed way on September 27, 2023, will not be laid to rest until a DNA test is done to determine Liam’s paternity. Chinese boss drops $26million in cash at end of year party, tells employees to take as much as they can carry A Chinese company stunned staff by stacking $26 million in cash at its end-of-year celebration, inviting employees to take home as much money as they could carry. The firm, Henan Kuangshan Crane Co. Ltd., hosted its annual party on February 13, spreading the enormous sum across 800 banquet tables. 5 hurt and high school evacuated after Colorado grass fire spreads  Four firefighters and one civilian were injured Wednesday after a fast-moving grass fire broke out in Thornton, Colorado, forcing the evacuation of a nearby high school and temporarily closing a major highway near Denver. Lenacapavir, taken twice a year, has been shown to reduce the risk of HIV transmission by more than 99.9 percent, though it is technically a chemical drug rather than a vaccine because it does not train the immune system.  Cisne, Illinois- A man who committed DV, while screaming about "finding his meth", fired multiple rounds into his victim's vehicle as she attempted to flee. He is already out of jail and the attempted murder charge has been dropped.  Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff's Department responded to a DV call at a residence in rural Cisne, at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, February 22nd. As deputies spoke with the victim, the full extent of the evening's chaotic and dangerous events were revealed. According to the victim, 40-year-old Ryan Musgrave, had become heavily intoxicated over the course of the evening. At some point during the evening, Ryan misplaced his bag of methamphetamine. The victim did not know that he had this baggie. Reportedly, this misplaced baggie caused Ryan to spin out in a spiral of rage that would end in gunfire and ultimately, Ryan's arrest.
