 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. Additional 301 evacuees arrive Abuja 



It was a scene of mixed feelings as another batch of 301 Evacuees mostly students from Sumy State University Budapest, Hungary arrived Abuja yesterday 

The 301 Nigerians from Budapest Hungary arrived the country aboard Asman Air.

The aircraft arrived at exactly 8.45pm and 
Ambassador Bolaji Akinremi was on hand to receive them on behalf of the Federal Government.

A mother was seen, shedding tears of joy as 4 of her children were amongst the evacuees. 

A medical student of the Sumy State University, Deborah Ayoola is happy to arrived in peace as she had been very scared but thanked God she was able to pass through.
