 Nick Reiner remains in jail with no family contact ahead of trial in parents’ murder case Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old screenwriter accused of killing his parents Rob and Michele Reiner, remains in custody at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles without bail.  He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder following the discovery of his parents’ bodies in their home last December.  His case has drawn widespread attention due to the high-profile nature of the victims and the disturbing allegations surrounding the incident. According to reports, Reiner has not been in contact with his family since his arrest.  Sources say relatives are unable to cope with the situation, leaving his defense attorney, Kimberly Greene, as the only person to visit him.  Greene took over the case earlier this year after his previous lawyer withdrew.
