Speaking during the Commissioning of the facility, the Permanent Secretary, Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke reaffirmed the State Government's commitment to the mandate that no resident is left behind in access to quality healthcare service delivery.

She added that the initiative aimed at bringing essential health services to riverine communities stressing that as part of the commissioning activities, a comprehensive medical outreach was conducted for residents of Takwa Bay.

She mentioned that the medical outreach activities include -  hypertension and diabetes screening. Test for  Syphilis, Hepatitis B, HIV, malaria and urinalysis. Dental Checks with extraction, blindness prevention screening with free corrective glasses, Prostate Cancer screening, among others.
