 Trump threatens Iran, hails daring rescue of downed U.S. airman President Donald Trump issued a forceful warning to Iran on Easter Sunday, saying the country could face attacks on its power plants if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.  Posting on Truth Social early in the morning, Trump wrote that Tuesday would be “Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” ending the message with the phrase, “Praise be to Allah.” The post comes days after U.S.-Israeli airstrikes destroyed the B1 bridge in Iran, one of the country’s tallest, linking the capital to the western city of Karaj.  The two-wave strike on Thursday reportedly killed eight people and injured at least 95, according to Iranian state media.  Residents of Enekwasumpu Appeal for Government Intervention on Agulu Road ‎ ‎ ‎By Uchechukeu Muolokwu ‎ ‎Residents and commercial transport operators in the Enekwasumpu area of Nkpor have urged the government to intervene in the deplorable state of the Agulu road. The road, which connects the Mgbuka market to Omagba axis, is a vital commercial artery, with daily traffic from commercial motorcycles, tricycles, and vehicles transporting goods and passengers. ‎ ‎A tricycle rider, who preferred anonymity, stated that the road was previously constructed by Former Governor  Mr Peter Obi, but has since deteriorated significantly.  An Illinois man ran a red light, causing a multiple vehicle accident, then used a handgun to take his own life in the midst of the chaos. 48-year-old Thomas Cremeens blew through a red light on the morning of April 3rd in Oak Park, Illinois.  As he careened through traffic, Cremeens swerved hard to keep from hitting a pedestrian. However, Cremeens ultimately crashed into multiple vehicles, creating a path of destruction that left 14 victims suffering from injuries.  When his vehicle came to rest, a bystander approached Cremeens vehicle to check on him. Witnesses on the scene would later report to authorities they heard a single gunshot soon after the bystander's welfare check.  First responders discovered Thomas Cremeens deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside of his vehicle a short time later. 11 people were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, while 3 others were treated at the scene. MYSTERY ANIMAL ATTACK LEAVES AN OKLAHOMA WOMAN FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE.(PHOTOS).

 Mystery animal attack leaves an Oklahoma woman fighting for her life. Sheriff Frankie McClendon had this to say about the attack, "In 38 years, I've never been involved or seen anything to this extent as far as injuries caused by any wild animal." Alicia Maxey has undergone four surgeries and remains in critical condition after being discovered badly wounded on March 29th. According to Alicia's sister-in-law Kat Kelley, Alicia reported hearing a deep growl right before being attacked. Kelley says Alicia described what attacked her as dog-like, but did not say with certainty that it was a dog. Authorities in the area have gathered pieces of Alicia's clothing left at the scene. They say they will test them for animal DNA to determine if Alicia was attacked by a bear, mountain lion or a dog. The family has set up a GoFundMe to help with expenses.  A North Carolina family says 7-year-old boy drowned while saving his friend.  7-year-old Abel Friday-Williams was recovered from the water of a small pond in Hickory City at approximately 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd.  According to Abel's aunt Brianna Sledge, "It breaks my heart because he saved his friend and lost his." Abel had gone to Bruce Meisner Park with a friend and an adult on Thursday. At some point Abel and his friend whose name has not been released, left the park and made their way to a nearby pond and waterfall that are part of the Hickory City waste water treatment pump station where the tragedy occurred. Their a path there however the city said the area is not for public use and the city did not put the path there. Few details have been made public at this time.  POLICE LUNCHES RESCUE OPERATIONS AS BANDITS ATTACK KURFA COMMUNITY, ABDUCT MANY PERSONS  A group of armed bandits attacked Kurfa Community in Bukuyum Local Government Area of   Zamfara State. According to a statement by the Command's Public Relations Officer DSP Yazid Abubakar the assailants, who arrived in large numbers, fired sporadically, causing panic and confusion among residents, resulting in an unspecified number of abductions. The statement noted that a joint team of Police operatives, military, and other security agencies responded swiftly, and rescue operations are ongoing.  The Police Spokesman added that some residents who escaped have been intercepted and are currently receiving medical treatment. The Command is working to ascertain the number of abducted persons and track down the perpetrators while efforts to restore peace and security in the State have been intensified.
