Charlie Kirk's Widow Attends Court Hearing for Suspect in Fatal Shooting Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, attended the preliminary hearing for the man accused of killing her husband, appearing in court for the first time since the fatal shooting nearly 10 months ago. Erika, 37, was joined by Charlie Kirk's parents at the hearing on Monday, July 6, as proceedings began against Tyler Robinson, the 23-year-old charged in connection with Kirk's death at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. According to the Associated Press, Donald Trump Jr. was also present in court, while Robinson's parents were seated a few rows behind the Kirk family. At the start of the hearing, the judge acknowledged the emotional nature of the case and asked those in attendance to maintain order and avoid displaying support or opposition toward either side.
