 Sangamon County residents are demanding answers pertaining to a Springfield Illinois officer allegedly allowing a lost and elderly couple to drive away even though the couple "didn't know their names or who they were." The couple also had "no clue where they were or why they were there".  This incident had a high probability of ending badly if Good Samaritans hadn't intervened.   A very distressed and elderly couple went to a local business last night expressing they were lost. The female was crying and told employees that she didn't know who they were or where they were. She said she didn't know where they lived. She stated they were lost and they didn't know where they needed to be.  The couple did arrive in a vehicle, with the distraught woman driving.  The manager of the business, Cindy Lyn, and the employees of the business, were understandably very worried about the elderly couple.  VP SHETTIMA TO LAUNCH FIRST UNIVERSITY PODS IN AFRICA


Vice President Kashim Shettima will flag off the first University Innovation Pods in Africa at the University of Lagos on Tuesday April, 7th 2026 


An initiative of the United Nations Development Programme in partnership with the Federal Government aims to reconfigure Nigeria’s development architecture to transform universities into engines of innovation and enterprise creation, among other objectives.


Deputy Chief of Staff to the President Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia in a press conference at the Presidential Villa says the UNIPOD initiative underscores the Federal Government's commitment to repositioning Nigerian universities as drivers of economic growth, innovation, and enterprise development, addressing the disconnect between formal education and labour market outcomes.


State House Correspondent Abdurrahman Jibrila Reports that the initiative is not an infrastructure intervention but a deliberate step towards building a coherent national innovation system that links talent, research, industry, and investment in a more purposeful manner.


The rollout will commence with the University of Lagos Artificial Intelligence Pod, with additional UniPods to follow in Abia, Akwa Ibom, Nasarawa, Benue, and Borno States, as Nigeria aims to scale to over Fifty universities nationwide; reach over Five hundred thousand learners with advanced digital and AI skills.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
