Cuba’s president rejects calls to step down amid escalating tensions with Trump administration Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said he will not step down from office, rejecting suggestions that he should resign during an interview conducted in Havana in his first appearance with a U.S. broadcast network. When asked whether he would consider leaving office to help stabilize the country, Díaz-Canel pushed back sharply, saying Cuba’s leadership is not chosen by the United States and insisting the nation operates as a sovereign state. He added that stepping down “is not part of our vocabulary,” and defended Cuba’s political system as one based on domestic elections at the local level. The exchange comes amid heightened tensions between Havana and Washington, with the Trump administration increasing pressure on Cuba and openly calling for political change on the island. A KENTUCKY WOMAN AND HER UNBORN CHILD ARE DECEASED AFTER A MAN OPENED FIRE ON HER... FOR HONKING HER HORN. IT IS BELIEVED THIS WAS PART OF A DOMESTIC INCIDENT. (PHOTO).

 A Kentucky woman and her unborn child are deceased after a man opened fire on her... for honking her horn. It is believed this was part of a domestic incident. 


Details on the circumstances leading up to the absolutely tragic and senseless passing of sweet Ava Woodcock (pictured below) are still under investigation. 


What we know at this point is that Ava pulled into the parking lot of Annie's restaurant in Glasgow, Kentucky, on Saturday, April 4th, and honked her horn. 


It's reported Ava honked at 24-year-old Brandon Bond (pictured below). However, Bond had a fatal reaction to Ava honking. The pair had possibly been arguing before Ava honked her horn. 

According to reports, Bond crossed the street and entered the parking lot before opening fire on a defenseless and pregnant Ava.


After being struck by multiple rounds fired by Bond, Ava's vehicle continued moving forward a short distance before crashing and coming to a stop. 


Brandon Bond immediately fled the scene. He was discovered hiding in a wooded area near a recycling center a short time later and was arrested. Police report Bond was "intoxicated and very uncooperative" during his arrest. 


Ava was rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she fought very hard for her life. Her unborn child passed away shortly after the shooting. Sadly, Ava passed away on Tuesday, April 7th. 


Ava leaves behind a 1-year-old old child and other distraught family and friends. 


Brandon Bond is being charged with m*rder and fetal homicide.


Our thoughts are with the family of Ava Woodcock. We are truly sorry for their loss.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
