Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein turns herself in over alleged interception of ex-husband’s communications “Real Housewives of Miami” star Lisa Hochstein turned herself in to Miami authorities after being accused of unlawfully intercepting communications involving her ex-husband, according to her attorney. She was booked and assigned a $5,000 bond, though her legal team says she will be released on her own recognizance. Her attorney argued the case stems from a contentious divorce dispute and should not be handled in criminal court. Court records show Hochstein and her former boyfriend, Jody Glidden, are each facing a felony charge tied to the alleged interception of oral communications involving her ex-husband, plastic surgeon Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein.  Obey Tinubu’s directive on rural development, LG funds – Abia APC chieftain tells Nigerian govs

A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Darlington Nnaoma Onyekacha, has called on governors and State Houses of Assembly across Nigeria to ensure that monthly financial allocations from the Federation Account are judiciously utilised, in line with President Bola Tinubu’s directive.

Onyekacha made the call on Thursday while formally declaring his intention to contest for the Ikwuano State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly.

He expressed regret that despite the huge funds being received by states and local governments, many rural communities across the country remain underdeveloped.

Onyekacha lamented the high rate of poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and infrastructure deficits in rural areas, describing the situation as unacceptable given the substantial inflow of resources to state and local government coffers.

He blamed the persistent underdevelopment partly on the failure of State Houses of Assembly to effectively hold governors and local government chairmen accountable for the funds allocated to them.

“Most of the challenges that Nigeria is having today are from the rural and state levels and not from the president,” Onyekacha said.

“It is not that the president is not releasing what it takes to build the states, but because of bad leadership in the state governments and the State Houses of Assembly.”

The APC aspirant promised to provide a strong and courageous voice in the Abia State House of Assembly if elected, vowing to fight against the underdevelopment of Ikwuano constituency.

He pledged to ensure that every kobo meant for his constituency is properly utilised for meaningful community development.
