 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. THREE ALABAMA FAMILY MEMBERS WERE EXECUTED IN THEIR HOME, ONE VICTIM WAS 8 MONTHS PREGNANT, AND ONE WAS 12-YEARS-OLD.(PHOTO).

 Three Alabama family members were executed in their home, one victim was 8 months pregnant, and one was 12-years-old.


This is a shocking and almost unbelievable act of cold-hearted violence carried out on three vulnerable people. 


This horrific crime was discovered by a family member who went to the victims' home in Wilmer, Alabama, early Monday morning. The father of the unborn child had noticed unusual movements through her phone's Life 360 app and had contacted family to check on the home.


Upon entering the home, the family member stumbled into a crime scene so terrible that it would be unimaginable to have to see. 


Inside the home, the family member found all three victims deceased with their hands zip tied behind their backs. The victims were a mother and her two children. They were helpless. 


The victims were 17-year-old Keziah Luker, who was 8 months pregnant.  She had been shot, ending both her life and the life of her unborn child. 

12-year-old Thomas Cordall. Thomas had his throat slashed.

47-year-old Lisa Ferguson. Lisa also had her throat slashed along with a stab wound.


There was an 18-month-old baby inside of the home that had not been injured. 


Authorities believe the deaths occurred sometime overnight.  They believe more than one perpetrator was involved to be able to control the three victims. 


Investigators have stated that at this point, they do not believe it was a domestic incident.

They say the house was ransacked as if someone was looking for something.


There are no suspects at this time.
