 Customary Court Executives Seek Welfare Support from Anambra AG By Chinelo Okeke    Executives of the Customary Court in Anambra State have appealed to the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Tobechukwu Nweke (SAN), to intervene in issues affecting their welfare. The appeal was made during a courtesy visit to the Attorney General in his chambers at the Ministry of Justice, Awka. Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the Customary Court Association, Anambra Chapter, His Honour Joy Mbachu, said the delegation was in the Ministry to familiarise with the Attorney General and to formally congratulate him on his appointment. Mbachu commended Nweke on his elevation and expressed confidence in his capacity to advance the justice sector in the state.  WORLD MALARIA DAY: FIRST LADY CALLS FOR UNITY IN PURPOSE TO FIGHT THE SCOURGE 


Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says achieving a malaria-free world begins with having a people united in purpose.


In her message marking 2026 World Malaria Day with the theme 'United Against Malaria' , she reaffirms 

commitment to ending malaria and protecting the health of every individual.


The First Lady highlighted the urgent need for sustained collaboration, increased investment through domestic financing, and innovative solutions to overcome challenges such as drug resistance.


The First Lady also harped on the need to strengthen prevention efforts, support life-saving interventions, and ensure that every community, especially the most vulnerable, has access to the materials needed to prevent and treat malaria.
