TROOPS DISMANTLE ILLEGAL ARMS MANUFACTURING HUB IN LANGTANG NORTH, ARREST SUSPECTS AND RECOVER ARMS IN JEMA'A LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREAS OF PLATEAU AND KADUNA STATES In a significant blow to the proliferation of illicit weapons and the activities of criminal elements, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE have successfully raided a clandestine arms manufacturing site in Gwandanu Village, Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The operation, which was conducted at about 5:00 pm on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, resulted in the arrest of 2 suspects caught in the process of fabricating sophisticated firearms. Court Jails Fraudster 37 years for N29m Procurement Fraud in Damaturu Justice Lawu Lawan of the Yobe State High Court, Damaturu on Thursday 23, April 2026 convicted and sentenced one Abubakar Sadiq Abubakar to 37 years imprisonment. The defendant was arraigned by the Maiduguri Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a four- count charges bordering on obtaining by false pretence, criminal misappropriation, forgery and used forged documents as genuine to the tune of N29,175,000. "After You Rejected My Marriage Proposal in Public, You Still Had the Guts to Come and Sleep in My House" – Man Reacts A man (34yrs) from Nnewi anambra state has reacted bitterly after his girlfriend publicly rejected his marriage proposal, only for her to return to his house later that same day to spend the night. According to the man, his girlfriend (27yrs) who comes from imo state Mbaise precisely boldly turned down the engagement ring 💍 he presented to her before his friends and other people that were present. The embarrassing incident, which happened in public, left him humiliated and deeply hurt 😢. Later in the day, the lady went back to the man’s house to spend a night as if nothing had happened. However, the man returned home around midnight and, still pained by the public rejection, asked her to pack all her belongings and leave immediately.
