A 3-YEAR-OLD BOY WAS STRUCK BY GUNFIRE AS POLICE BURST INTO A BARRICADED ROOM, ENDING A FRIGHTENING HOSTAGE SITUATION.(PHOTO).
This heartstopping encounter occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania, on February 14th.
On that date, the unidentified victim was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth Clarke. After str@ngling and battering the woman, Clarke forced her into a U-Haul.
While in the U-Haul, Clarke informed the victim he planned to take her life. At this point, she knew she had to escape.
When the U-Haul came to a stop in front of Butler Tobacco & Grocery, the victim took the opportunity to jump from the U-Haul.
She then ran straight for the business. Once inside, she was met by employee Tori Adams. Tori said the victim had blood on her face and torn clothes when she entered. The victim immediately began pleading for help; telling Tori she had been kidnapped.
Tori wasted no time ushering the female victim into the back of the store. Then Tori went a step further to protect the vulnerable victim.
Only seconds after getting the victim in the back of the store, Kenneth Clarke entered the building looking for the victim.
Tori did not run from the danger.
Tori switched to full hero mode, coming back out to confront the man and chase him out of the store! (Just wow, Tori!)
The whole harrowing ordeal was captured by the store's security cameras.
Thanks to the brave actions of Tori Adams, the victim was rescued from what could have been a grisly fate.
Kenneth Clarke was arrested a short time later. He is being charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, str@ngulation, and terroristic threats.
Great job, Tori! You definitely deserve a raise.
We are also so proud of the abducted woman for saving herself! We are happy she is still here! Great job!
